daddy date

Daddy regularly takes his girls on special "just them" outings we call "daddy dates." I think this one was the biggest deal yet. Big girl's staying up WAY past bedtime to see her first MLB game tonight at the Ballpark. She is a bigtime Cubbies fan so was pretty excited about getting to spend some time in a real park. Dogs, cotton candy, peanuts and cracker jacks. The whole bit. How fun that Daddy got to send me a photo and I got to get it out to you before the 7th inning stretch! She may or may not actually get into the game, but those of us who follow baseball will know that this series is actually a decent one to see as both teams are leading their divisions. At this point in the evening, looks like those Rangers may leave us with a pouty lip...
