Delta's New Mobile Duck ID App
Identifying ducks and geese is no simple task, especially for novice hunters.
But Delta's new iPhone duck identification app (available soon on Android) has several features that can help you learn the many duck and goose species you'll likely encounter in the field.
The app was created by Matt Livingston, Delta member and founder of floodedtimber.org, a nonprofit devoted to using technology to educate hunters and anglers.
"I just wanted to do something for Delta and the next generation of waterfowlers," he said.
The app costs $2.99, a percentage of which will go directly to Delta Waterfowl's conservation programming. The app can be purchased on iTunes or at www.floodedtimber.org.
